Granted, the title track to "Just Push Play" was amazing, and the video for Jaded was... so-so avec a hot appearance from That 70's Show's Jackie. Still, this song marked the first time in history that a band was inducted into the Rock N' Roll Hall of Fame while having a top-ten hit song. 10. Ryan Fan Club - Friggidy Ding-Dong (2009) Shameless plug? Darn tootin'. Buy my new album Here. And if you must have another song here in it's place then I suppose we could go with U2's "Elevation". 9. Justin Timberlake - Sexyback (2006) Even though my friend Bob brought sexy back first, you gotta give Timberlake credit for making even the most hardcore boy-band haters bob their head n' groove to this track. Or just give Timberland credit for doing the producing and mixing work. Hell, give my friend Bob credit anyway. 8. Arcade Fire - Wake Up (2004) It's just one of those anthems that you can't help but love. And it's in "Where The Wild Things Are", which is awesome too. 7. Rihanna - Umbrella (2007) Ella, ella, ella, eh eh eh... admit it... you were singing it in the shower. ![]() 6. The Trews - So She's Leaving (2006) A rock song with lyrics like "oh my girl please don't give in... don't listen to your stupid friends" is more than just okay in my books. Add in a great riff and a rockin' solo and you might think rock n' roll isn't dead. Thumbs up indeed! 5. Lily Allen - LDN (2006) She's cute. She's got an accent. She makes great videos. She's cute. Did I mention she's cute? 4. No Doubt - Hella Good (2001) Some would argue there are two No Doubts. The early ska-influenced rock group, and then the later pumpin' Stefani project that resulted in her solo career. "Hella Good" was the jump-point from one to the other. 3. Buckcherry - Crazy Bitch (2006) ![]() Quite simply, this is the song that brought back real rock. There is no better rock band out there right now than Buckcherry. 2. Audioslave - Like A Stone (2002) Chris Cornell could sing anything and it would sound awesome. Maybe even a Celine Dion song. But let's not put ideas in his head. Too bad Audioslave kinda fizzled away because their first album was all killer and no filler. And I can't believe I just used that cliché. 1. Outkast - Hey Ya (2003) I pick this song as #1 because no matter what kind of music you like, what your gender is, what bands are your favorites, how old you are, or if your skin is white, black, red, purple, beige, brown, or plaid you love this song. Everyone loves this song and it makes them feel good to just hear it.
