Green Flame
Written by Ryan Matthew
She stared into the green flame
And let the dis-illusions grow
It's kinda like a sick and twisted game
The rules, only she is allowed to know

So what if I could give to you
All the things you've never seen before
Except for in your dreams - they can come true
If you just let go and explore
The depths within your heart, it's there
Like an explosion before the blast
And to think you didn't care
About what happened in the past

She tried to light the green flame
And sparked an interest in the frost
It's like a dragon in a frame
Who want to be free at any cost

So what if I could take from you
The one thing that's been holding you back
Been stuck in square one - you know it's true
While other's pick up all the slack
That you once thru away with fear
Cause the conversation in the store
Drove your love far from here
And you can't take it anymore

She cried before the green flame
She begged forgiveness with a frown
The only thing she knew was her name
Nothing more than a silly noun

She stared into the green flame
She stared into the green flame

So what I could give with you
All the gifts you never knew you had
Inside that mind of yours - you see what's true
Cause the lies no longer make you sad
It's a lesson learned, you cannot lose
Now the emptiness is filled with trust
It was up to you to choose
And do the right thing, yes, you must

She stared into the green flame
And never looked at it once more
She's now happy that she came
She got inside her inner core
She stared into the green flame
