Payin' Back The Piper
Written by Ryan Matthew
And when you're finished with the diaper
Spend the rest of your life
Payin' back the piper
The Devil's on the bus
The Angel sees you later
Have lunch in the second floor gazebo
The Devil's in the discount elevator
It was the spacebar on the old typewriter
Lingering like a bad perfume
Taste the fruit again when it's riper
Spend the rest of your life
Payin' back the piper
There's no gold to spin into
And not a first-born too
the killer discovered, yet still find a clue
"Today do I bake, tomorrow I brew"
The antidote dispels the venom of the viper
A bittersweet and melancholic hyper
And spend the rest of your days
Payin' back the piper
