 Derek Morley - Ryan 1. Tell us a bit about yourself: Name is Derek Morley, but you can call me Chancho (my portuguese name). I'm just a regular kinda guy. I like to work at something thats my own, and I'd like to have a family someday with the right person (and I think I've found her). One of my biggest things right now is learning about technology in the teachings of guys such as Marshall McLuhan and Neil Postman. These guys certainly aren't Ludites, but what they ask is for us to become critical of technology, instead of embracing it automatically. So this is where I'm comign from when I talk about building a simple house and growing a big garden. 2. Why did you join the RFC? I joined the Ryan Fan club 'cause it just seemed like the right thing to do. After all, Ryan is an icon we can all turn to in times of trouble. Ryan is a ray of sunlight pearcing through the clouds of boredom and inanity. And I dont mind telling all you fans out there, that I was one of the very first members! 3. Why do you love Ryan with all your heart? Well, its not just his looks, believe it or not; Its his style. He's always up for a good time, always on his toes, and on the ball, and as any trained seal can tell you Thats NOT EASY! 4. Why should other people like you join? People who need some direction in their life should join, or if they have direction then they should join for the hilarity. 5. If you could spend a whole day with Ryan what would you do?
